How long have you been performing on stage?
My first performance was in Peter Pan when I was in the 2nd grade. But I have been putting on shows for my family and friends ever since I could talk.
What was your first show with Spotlight?
My first show with Spotlight was "Footloose." It was so fun to be a part of the ensemble. I learned a lot about performing and met a lot of great friends. I was really happy later when I got to do it again with Spotlight!
Why do you like performing with us?
It is so much fun!!! At Spotlight I get to hang out with my friends while pursuing my passion for performing. The people at spotlight are like my second family. The professional atmosphere is another plus! When I'm in a show with them I feel like I am in something that is legitimate.Overall, the experience of being in a Spotlight show is just awesome!
What is your dream role?
Although there are many roles I would love to play, my dream role would probably be Glinda from Wicked. She is such a fun a quirky character, and not to mention, a blonde! :)

My favorite role was definitely Urlene in "Footloose." It was my second time being in the show with Spotlight. Although the three part harmony was challenging, I loved the character! I also got to perform with some of my best-friends.
Has Spotlight helped you grow as a performer? If so, how?
Yes! So much! The directors at Spotlight have high expectations of all the performers. All of them are very helpful and great teachers. In addition to the directors, the performers at Spotlight have all helped me to improve with their care and support. At Spotlight, everyone cares about others' growth and helps them to improve.

In the little time that I'm not performing or rehearsing to perform, I love hanging out with my friends from school or Spotlight. I also love to shop and spend time with my family.
If you could choose a show for Spotlight to produce, what would it be and why?
There are so many shows I would love to be in with Spotlight! My number one pick would be Hairspray. But, I would also like to do shows like Chicago, Fiddler on the Roof, and West Side Story.
What are your strongest and weakest traits as a performer?
I feel my strength has always been my singing. I love singing, and do it all the time! Although I think my acting is okay too, I just love musicals. When I watch a play I always wonder when they are going to break out into song. My weakest point would definitely be my dancing. Well, I guess the only way to go is up! Luckily, the choreography at spotlight is not TOO difficult, so even I can pick it up!

My favorite show would have to be "Beauty and the Beast." The Disney movie is one of my favorites! The show had a huge ensemble and so many fun dance numbers.
